Three BMW GS bikes are now available for those looking to participate in a California motorcycle tour without their own bike—or simply rent something new to ride California—two 1250s and an 1150.
You can either rent one and go out alone like others renting on the Twisted Road platform, or you can tap into MotoCalifornia’s expertise for touring routes. You can also take it one step further and have MotoCaliforia lead the tour for you!
Regardless of your choice, MotoCalifornia can also manage all lodging accommodations upon request to provide riders with an unforgettable trip to the West Coast.
Explore SoCal on a BMW R 1250/1150
Take a trip up the Pacific Coast Highway, Big Sur, or any of the wonderful beaches in SoCal on the back of MotoCalifornia founder Georgie Beavers' personal favorite touring bikes. Rates differ by bike, and a 2-day minimum rental is required to book.
Riders can also bring their own bike and book lodging through MotoCalifornia (a two-week lead time is required for lodging requests).

Routes like the Pacific Coast Highway are on many people’s bucket lists, but what about if you’re looking for some twisties or even less crowded roads? Even simple detours on popular routes can deliver unforgettable moments, and there are many that only locals know about.

Group Trips Available with Lodging
Take a group trip to the West Coast using Twisted Road and MotoCalifornia. George has three motorcycles available for rent, and he can provide groups with custom lodging and navigation options. A 3-4 week lead time is required for group trips that require lodging and transportation.
Rental Terms and Rates
- Bikes are available on request (2-day minimum for rentals).
- New R 1250 GS rides are available for $189 per day (discounted for multiple days).
- The R 1150 GS is available for $99 per day (discounted for multiple days).
